There's No Place Like Home

There are times when I feel people travel too far to find the biggest, the best, and the beautiful. More often times than not, the beautiful can be found in things that are a part of our normal, everyday lives. I travelled home last weekend and finally brought my camera home with me. When I left, I told myself my goal for the weekend was to capture some beauties of home. Boy did I ever! I had so much fun capturing nature and the awes of home. A neighbor that is always just up the lane, a lake that is always out front, a dog that sleeps by my side every night, and a barn that I drive by every time I travel back home. Tonight, I want to take a step back and remind myself that the things that matter most in life are usually right by your side; and a part of your everyday life. The beauty gets overlooked if you don’t stop and take the time to appreciate it.
