When I met with Amber, she was so worried about what she was going to wear... I told her to simply pick out some of outfits consisting of her favorite things (shoes, tights, hats, scarves, etc). I told her that this shoot was all about her as a young woman and her many accomplishments she has made throughout high school. This shoot was in celebration of HER and the beautiful new beginning ahead of her. I wanted to make sure that Amber felt at ease and was comfortable in front of the camera, so we started right in her back yard. What a fun thing this was so see Amber travel back to her childhood. Special staircases with a secret path, a hay barn with memories of hard work, silos that marked the families pride, and sheds with memories of playing house with the older sister. What beautiful memories you have of home Amber! I want to congratulate you on your up and coming graduation and wish you the best of luck in your next step. May these special memories making up this place called HOME always remain in your heart.
