My Friend Wayne

Although writing is usually a fairly easy task for me, there are times when I struggle on these blog posts…..I think “I think” too hard…wanting each post to be sentimental, encouraging, and optimistic.

Well I have decided to not over think this one…because my heart tells me this blog needs to be focused on Miss Cathryn (or as I know her as, Catty Patty, Wayne), call her what you wish. What a journey we have had together…sharing a suite in college, travelling the WORLD together during our abroad experience, life after college, then marriage..and NOW she is one step ahead of me….MOTHERHOOD.

You know, Cat is just one of those girls (friends) that will always have your back. No matter what kind of day you are having, she will remind you that life is too short not to just giggle it off! Today, I GIVE THANKS for our friendship, for Cat’s marriage and the wonderful man she has found, and for little miracle she has brought into this world – - Kaden Baumgartner! …..who WILL someday be a cowboy…calling this one now!
