Country Pride

There’s just something special [and to be appreciated] about being on the farm. It’s something in the crisp air. Something about how the pace of life seems to slow, and you are much more aware of the beauty that surrounds you. Something about the magic of the tire swing, and how it makes you feel like a kid, every time! For the Larsen family, their place of escape is always Grandma & “Papas” farm. I could just feel the sense of pride in the land. From Papa’s boots to his cowboy hat, his soft eyes and rough hands illuminated years of hard, prideful work. When I asked what parts of their farm were most important to them, they responded, “their home and their cows”. What a beautiful, simple way of life! On the farm…..an unforgettable place for kids to be kids....and for grownups, well, to be reminded to let their inner child out! Anyways....at the end of the day, we ALL have a little country in us! Thank you Larsen family, for sharing this awesome place with me!
