How do you know it’s time to finally pursue something
That you have for so long called a dream
Something that you have been working so very hard towards
Something that is always in the back of your mind
When [is the right time]
How [can we make it work]
Can I [even do this]

Well the time has come. Something has changed inside of me
It’s that gut feeling. A feeling in my heart
A passion that is tired of being pushed aside…waiting for that [time]
When I have time for IT again

It’s funny how God works
Here I thought I had been swimming along just fine, when all of a sudden
[twice in a row now]
God gives me a boat and he says
Get the heck out of this water
I have new water waiting for you
Even though these [boats] came as surprises,
I now realize they were all a part of his plan
And NOW is my time

I am ready.

Ready to not walk, not jog, but to sprint forward
I have had this passion inside of me for far too long
It is time I let it out and see where it takes me
For so long, I did what I needed to do in order to be stable
But then there was a point where the unknown
Was much more gratifying than choosing the safer route

Will there be tough times, yes
Am I scared, yes
Do I have much to learn. yes
But have I ever been one to dip my foot in the water
To check the temperature?

I am diving in
I ready to strip the old and dive into the world with my new
