A Special Picnic

Let’s admit it….everyone gets a little nervous when getting their photo taken. So much to think about: where to put your hands, where to place your feet, which foot to put your weight on….heck I even get stressed thinking about all of these things.

And this exactly why I choose lifestyle photography. It’s candid. It’s real. It’s genuine. It’s natural……and it’s when I am in my element. It is the STYLE I hope Kerri Photography is recognized for.

Granted, every family needs to get at least one traditional posed photograph…but THEN comes the time to play. In this series of photos, the moments came alive when I set the scene up for the kids to be on an imaginary picnic. Now obviously in the eyes of a child, this was the best idea ever..because I emphasized they could eat WHATEVER THEY WANTED at their picnic. Even if that meant nothing but candy.

This is where the magic happens. Giggles come out. Snuggles naturally happen. And true personalities shine.
