Too often we wait for life’s “close calls” before we count our blessings. Year after year we are reminded that life is sometimes just not fair. But I have also found that those things that seem so unfair are A LOT MORE bearable & BEATABLE with faith, a strong support group, and a positive attitude!
On February 18th, Colton…..a 13 year old nature loving young man was diagnosed with stage 4 Hodgkins Lymphoma. Today, February 23rd, Colton begins his next step in his journey....treatment.
I found today to be a fitting time to share these images, which I hope help tell the story of Colton, his faith, his strong support group, and his positive attitude!
The morning of this session, we were greeted with rain, sleet, and cold temperatures. We got creative, grabbed the umbrella and some funny hats….and spent the morning laughing together.
Here’s to Colton’s journey….may we all be reminded that when life brings us a rainy day,
grab some funny hats and laugh!
Love these, Kerri! Such powerful images!!
