Living in your Mid 20’s…What a Joy!!

Growing up is a funny thing. I am a firm believer everyone had “that chat” with your high school friends….making bets on who is going to get hitched first….and have a baby first. At the time of conversation, those grown up things seem so far away.

Then you graduate high school, move onto college, meet new friends….broaden horizons, live, love, and LEARN! And all of a sudden, your summers are filled with weddings. Very special weddings for people you grew up with…shared your secrets and summers with. Once the wedding years slow down….[and yes the riddle still hold true]….THEN comes the baby in the baby carriage.

Over the past year, Tyler and I have had so many friends blessed with the miracle of not only pregnancy, but healthy, strong, & beautiful babies! And how lucky I am to get to work with these close friends…photographing their precious child for the first time.

Little Leila is no exception when I say beautiful baby! Proud Daddy, Ladd made a comment during the session while watching Leila sleep…he said [you have to take advantage of these precious moments]. Ladd laughed, as he was talking about precious sleep time, but his comment stuck with me as I kept photographing his sweet little girl….HOW PRECIOUS life is. Each and every nap, giggle, dirty diaper….all a part of the journey….all precious moments in time that we can’t get back. What precious moments have YOU rushed through today?
