Happy planning!
Seniors: [What to Wear]
General guidelines:
Choose your outfits based on the
type of “styles” you want in your
images. And bring more outfits than
your session calls for [I can help with what will photograph well]
o
Style
Examples: fun, flirty, sassy, traditional, elegant, classy, sporty, preppy,
grunge, tough, sophisticated, etc.
o
Avoid pieces with
large/heavy text or pattern
o
Hair: don’t try
a new hair style right before your session [that includes highlights]
o
Think about location
in advance: do you have a spot meaningful to you [park, hang out, stadium,
downtown area, etc]
o
Be conscious
of sunburn/tan lines
Accessories & Props:
If you LOVE it and it represents YOU….BRING
IT!
o
Accessory
examples: fun shoes [barefoot is cute too], hats, jewelry, scarves, jackets…
o
Prop
examples: favorite book, ballet shoes, pet, guitar, drawing book, helmet…
Ladies:
Do your makeup the same as you usually
would
o
Lip gloss/chap
stick is your friend [dry cracked lips are hard to edit]
Nails: chipped nail polish is bad
If you wear a dress or skirt:
o
Wear bloomers [something you will be able to
move around in with no worries]
o
Wear a cami
under your tops so changing is quick and easy
Be conscious of hair in your eyes [bring hair pins] a pimple here and
there is an easy fix. Random flying hairs in your face is NOT
Guys:
Freshly shaved = good [unless facial
hair is your standard]
Bottom line:
Choose clothes that represent your personality and style
What are you comfortable in? What do
you feel GOOD in? What do you feel LIKE YOU in?
GOT IT? LET’S
ROCK!
